The California State Lottery is seeking an infrastructure administration and support manager (IT Manager I) to oversee the direction and operations of the lottery.
“The incumbent will manage and oversee the project management of the most complex infrastructure efforts including planning, scheduling and evaluating,” the job posting says. “The duties for this position span System Engineering, Client Services, Information Security Engineering, Software Engineering and Business Technology Management domains.”
Desirable qualifications for the position include:
- Proven track record in guiding, developing and managing a diverse team of high-performing infrastructure engineers and professionals responsible for delivering a wide range of infrastructure services.
- Experience with infrastructure-related budgeting, forecasting, procurements, and resource management.
- Knowledge and understanding of modern infrastructure services. This includes supporting hardware and software components, integration interfaces, as well as the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of these infrastructure technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with modern infrastructure technologies, services, and best practices.
