One of New Orleans most prominent construction firms, RNGD, is expanding into the Nashville area with the opening of a new office building.
RNGD, pronounced renegade, has been in Nashville since 2021 and was previously renting a small office there. But the company needed a larger space to accommodate its growing portfolio of business and staff, RNGD Owner Wes Palmisano said.
In 2023, the company purchased a former automotive repair shop about two miles east of the city’s tourist district for $2 million, turned it into an office building and moved into the 4,000-square-foot space earlier this month.
The company is also expanding in Huntsville, Alabama, where it is developing a mixed-use district in that city’s downtown with townhouses, retail space, a restaurant and offices.
Palmisano said RNGD’s growth in other cities complements the work it is doing in the New Orleans market, which will continue to be its home base.
“Our recent investment in the New Orleans area and move to a new facility in an industrial environment is a commitment to keeping New Orleans as our regional headquarters and expanding our workforce in the local market,” he said.
