Watsontown Trucking Co. has been awarded the Motor Carrier Safety Platinum Level and Workplace Safety Platinum Level by Great West Casualty Company as part of their annual Workplace Safety and Motor Carrier Safety Awards program.
According to a news release, the Workplace Safety Awards program recognizes trucking companies for their dedication to creating and fostering a safe work environment for their employees. Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, or Silver award.
The Motor Carrier Safety Award program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations — truckload and less than truckload — with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Motor carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, or Silver award.
