BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Poarch Creek Indians are celebrating after a tribally owned business received a prestigious award.
According to a news release, Media Fusion, a tribally owned business that specializes in creating products and services for commercial and government customers, was awarded the Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
The United States Small Business Administration said the award “honors small businesses that have provided the government with outstanding goods and services as prime contractors.”
Media Fusion received the award during the 38th meeting of the Marshall Small Business Alliance at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration in Huntsville, according to the release.

Poarch Creek Indians Tribal officials said the award shows the tribe’s commitment to helping with economic advancements for both the tribe and nation.
