Butler County has allotted over $1 million in federal funding to 10 different entities.
This is the final batch of money from the American Rescue Plan, which had to be obligated by the end of the year.
The funding will go to a variety of projects, including sewer improvements, road work, and flood mitigation.
The county was allotted over $14 million in ARPA funds, but officials say they have been able to take that money and accomplish over $38 million in infrastructure projects.
- Butler Township: $100,000 for sanitary and sewer improvements on Arlington Drive.
- Cranberry Township: $250,000 for the Glen Eden Watershed.
- Donegal Township: $25,000 Welter Road project.
- Evans City Borough: $60,000 for stormwater improvements.
- Harmony Borough: $25,000 stormwater repairs on Spring Street and Old Little Creek Road.
- Jackson Township: $50,000 for German Street flood mitigation projects.
- Petroleum Valley Regional Water Authority: $100,000 for the treatment plant facility construction.
- Saxonburg Area Authority: $250,000 in supplemental funds.
- Western Butler County Authority: $150,000 for Abby Woods area sewer and runoff.
- Zelienople Borough: High and Main Street flood and stormwater improvements.
