Netflix recently released Love is Blind: Habibi Episode 8 on October 10, 2024, exclusively on the platform. The eighth episode, ‘Almost There,’ featured brides and grooms in separate venues selecting and trying on their wedding outfits.
The eighth episode started with “Five days” remaining since the wedding. Later, brides went for their wedding gown trials with their family and friends. Dounia and her mother were the first ones to arrive at the venue.
Soon, Asma and her sister, Nihal, joined Dounia; later, Safa joined them. She came with her mother for the most important shopping she would do. When Safa arrived, she confessed she was eager to find her wedding dress.
“And mom is the closest person to me, and her opinion definitely matters a lot to me,” confessed Safa.
Her mother shared in a separate confession that her only wish was to see her daughter Safa in the wedding dress.
Love is Blind: Habibi: Safa and other brides on their “wedding dress” shopping: Details explored
At the wedding dress shopping venue, Safa and her mother were looking at some of the dresses on the display. Safa didn’t seem to be finding anything of her choice.
“Let’s hope I can find a dress first. Otherwise, we’ll have to change the date.” shared Safa.
Her mother, knowing her daughter so well, agreed.
Seemingly confused, the Love is Blind: Habibi star admitted that she had never tried any wedding dress before that day. That might be why she wasn’t sure what wedding dress style she wanted.
Soon, all three brides-to-be, Safa, Asma, and Dounia, met each other at the shopping venue where Safa shared,
“There are many beautiful dresses, but until now I didn’t feel that something had called to me and said, you know…”
Asma added that the dress would make her say, “Okay, come for me. You’re mine,” and they all laughed. Still, Safa seemed confused about finding her perfect wedding dress.
Later on, when the Love is Blind: Habibi co-host Elham-Ali joined the brides and asked Safa what white color meant to her. She revealed a big wedding where all her loved ones would be around her, where everyone was happy.
“Obviously, I need to think about many details, but I’ll think about the dress the most,” shared Safa.
Asma was the first one to try out the wedding dress, and she loved the first one she tried. Next was Dounia, who also found her perfect wedding dress. She teased that she would sleep in that dress that night, and everyone laughed.
On the other hand, Mohammed went to men’s suit tryouts, where he was worried about Safa choosing her wedding outfit. Referring to Safa being a “picky” individual, Love is Blind: Habibi star shared in the confessional,
“I’m worried about Safa’s dress, more than my suit because I know how picky Safa can be when it comes to certain things. May God help her stylist. She might quit.”
Later on, it was Safa’s turn to choose her “perfect dress.”
Safa explored a range of dresses, but she didn’t like any of them at first. For one of the designs, she said, it was “too much work.” When her mother asked for another dress, Safa said she didn’t like white dresses.
Love is Blind: Habibi star then tried on her first wedding dress, which everyone appreciated and cheered for.
“Safa is the prettiest girl ever. She’s beautiful and classy.” shared Safa’s mother.
Everyone liked the dress except the bride. She then tried her second dress, which she found to be “a bit strange” and had “too much embroidery.”
Safa then tried the third dress, which her mother liked, and so did everyone else. She felt the dress was a “bit better” but still “not her.”
“I know that the wedding dress will stress me out, but right now, I didn’t find a dress. So if I don’t have a dress, well, probably there’s no wedding,” confessed Safa.
That day ended on the show, while Safa could not yet pick a wedding dress for herself.
To know more about what kind of dress Safa chose, fans can stream Love is Blind: Habibi on Netflix. The platform has already aired all nine episodes of the social experiment.
