The Lone Star State might have what you’re looking for. U.S. News & World Report recently published a list of the top 10 places to live in Texas. Here’s which cities made the list:

According to  U.S. News & World Report methodology, cities in the rankings are assessed using data from sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. News’ internal resources.

This data is organized into four indexes: Quality of Life Index, Value Index, Desirability Index, and Job Market Index.

The data is also analyzed based on a methodology reflecting Americans’ preferences. Each index is derived from responses in a February 2024 public survey, where people in the U.S. shared the most important factors to consider when choosing a place to live.

Here is a list of the 10 best places to live in Texas.

According to the Census Bureau, Texas has gained over nine million new residents from 2000 to 2022.
