Global sports and entertainment agency 54 has been shortlisted for Agency of the Year at the FEVO Sport Industry Awards alongside some of UK sport’s leading entities.
The recognition follows a landmark year in which 54 expanded its service provision, achieved record revenues in excess of $200m, extended into new international territories with new offices in Spain, Vietnam and significant growth in Saudi Arabia, and surpassed 200 members of an ever-growing team.
The agency also pursued an ambitious growth strategy, acquiring or investing into five portfolio brands, significantly broadening its offering and impact across sport. 2024 was also the year in which 54 performed a full organisational rebrand (from Performance54), setting the foundations for an exciting future.
The FEVO Sport Industry Awards celebrate the best in UK sport, with Agency of the Year in its prestigious Premium category. Consideration criteria included the agency’s ability to stand out from competitors, drive industry innovation, demonstrate business growth, retain key clients, and secure new partnerships.
Adding to the momentum, 54 has once again been named in the Financial Times’ FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, ranking 153rd overall – the highest placement of any sports-focused agency. This marks the second time 54 has made the list, having also ranked in the top 200 in 2021.
Jed Moore, 54’s Group CEO, said: “It’s an honour to be included alongside some of the industry’s top agencies shortlisted for Sport Industry Awards’ Agency of the Year, as well as in the FT1000, and it’s a testament to the incredible work of our team in what has been another seismic year for us.
“These developments recognise our firm belief that sport needs transformative allies. There’s a real pioneering spirit at 54 – not just in supporting stakeholders across the industry, but in leveraging sport as a driver of economic and social development, and we’re thankful to all of our partners for the opportunity to demonstrate this.”
There was further success for 54’s partners at the FEVO Sport Industry Awards, with England Golf nominated in the Sports Organisation of the Year and Wellness at Work categories, while Rick Shiels made the shortlist for The Rick Shiels Golf Show in the Sports Podcast Award category.
The winners will be announced on May 15 at an awards ceremony at Evolution London. The full set of shortlists can be found here. Find more on 54, visit weare54.com.
