The CEO of 23andMe said there was “substantial doubt” that the company could continue to operate and said 40 percent of its workforce would be cut. While some users may be concerned about their personal data, 23andMe says it’s “committed to protecting customer data” and maintaining customer privacy. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk reports.
